Our Story

Several years ago, our family traveled to visit a close friend serving in Thailand. Along the way, we visited various markets and met vendors selling strands of real semi-precious stones. I was amazed by the exquisite quality of these stones compared to plastic, resin-based jewelry sold in expensive clothing stores. The jewelry in the markets was relatively heavy with unique designs naturally formed over thousands of years. I found a particular red coral necklace that I adored but could not find another at the remaining markets on our trip. I was so disappointed to leave without it but a few months later my husband surprised me at Christmas with a red coral necklace just like the one I missed!

My memorable experience led to the creation of Meant Jewels. I hope Meant Jewels will be known for high quality jewelry and innovative fashion.
