Brighton Their World Foundation Partnership

According to UNICEF, there are 5 million orphans in Ethiopia where malnutrition is the cause for more than half of all deaths of children under five years of age. Meant Jewels is excited to partner with the Brighton Their World Foundation by giving profits from our purchases to their foundation until March 2010. Meant Jewels' support will allow the Brighton Their World Foundation to deliver Nestle Good Start Gentle Plus baby formula to malnourished orphans in Ethiopia. This is best type of formula for the orphans because it contains DHA and ARA that help specifically with an infant's development. Currently, this type of formula is not sold in Africa. The Brighton Their World Foundation's efforts to bring this baby formula to infant orphans in Ethiopia significantly increase their chance of survival. The Brighton Their World Foundation was started by Laura and Tymm Hoffman who lost their adopted son to malnutrition. Brighton died before Laura and Tymm arrived in Ethiopia to meet them. The foundation is dedicated to bringing better nutrition to infants who cannot provide for themselves. One hundred percent of donations to the foundation will directly fund nutrition projects in Ethiopia.
